Landscape paintings in pastel and oil by Karen Vanderpool-Haerle. I enjoy exploring the landscape with contemporary color and geometry in pastel, oil, and acrylic. I search for the beauty in out landscape even in places where much of the beauty has been replaced with concrete and development. I am currently exploring the rewilding of our landscape, returning land to blackland prairies and restoring beauty lost to human activity and development.
