I am an artist and creator. I am passionate about designing virtual reality applications for pain management and applications where distraction plays a significant role. What does it take to create my art and design? In addition to using sketching for ideation, I use multiple software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Blender, Unity. I have experimented with various 3D softwares over the years and landed on Blender because it is opensource. I play in virtual reality software on a daily basis and am proficient in Gravity Sketch, Adobe Modeler, OpenBrush, and others. I was an Alpha Creator in Meta Horizons. I have a wide range of skills that range from traditional art to complex 3D software. I have been using Photoshop and Illustrator since 1998. When people wonder what goes into my art and design, it is an amalgamation of traditional art and 3D art with digital 2D and 3D art. Somewhere in there is a complex understanding of UX design and interaction design. I have used Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision to design UI interfaces. I recently designed the user interface for a surgical navigation augmented reality application. I understand spatial design, virtual reality and augmented reality design and have a deep understanding of Anatomy, pathology, cell biology, and neuroanatomy. All of these things contribute to my skills as a designer. l love virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and understand that there is a need for each but also a need to understand the use case for each.
